The following guidelines outline both the process and responsibility for distributing email messages to members of AIIAS community.
In these guidelines, mass electronic communications is defined as electronic mail messages distributed through system generated email lists maintained on behalf of the school by Information Technology. They are a useful and convenient way of informing the campus community. However, their potential for unnecessarily consuming resources and cluttering campus inboxes require that senders of such messages adhere to some guidelines. As such, mass e-mails must be approved and sent by authorized users only.
Anyone holding an AIIAS email account is allowed to send messages to institutional mailing lists, complying with the instructions given in this document.
Mass electronic mails are considered official channels of communication and particularly designed for any of the following situations:

Administrative and academic offices of AIIAS, AIIAS Church departments and other institutional recognized bodies are allowed to request a mailing list. An email to it@aiias.edu should be sent by the administrator or director of the office, requesting a new list and adding the following information:
